Restless Agricultural Community Farmers Association
Breaking Cycles of Poverty Through Sustainable Agriculture and Women's Empowerment
About Our Organization
The Restless Agricultural Community Farmers Association (RACFA) is a registered Non-Governmental Organization based in Massachusetts, USA, operating on the frontlines of rural empowerment in Yorvuhun Village and its surrounding communities in Kenema District, Sierra Leone. We exist for one clear purpose: to break the cycles of extreme poverty, gender-based vulnerability, and landlessness by empowering rural women through sustainable agriculture, economic independence, and social dignity.
Our comprehensive approach combines land access advocacy, microfinance support, agricultural training, and market access initiatives to create lasting change. By providing rural women with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need, we enable them to build sustainable livelihoods, achieve food security, and gain the social empowerment necessary to transform their communities and secure a better future for their families.
Our Services
Land Access & Microfinance Support
We provide comprehensive land access advocacy and security services combined with micro-capital and microfinance support to help rural women secure productive assets and establish sustainable agricultural enterprises.

Our agricultural extension and capacity building programs equip farmers with modern sustainable farming techniques, while our food security and nutrition support initiatives ensure families have access to nutritious food year-round.
Market Access & Women's Empowerment
We connect farmers to market opportunities for income generation and provide social empowerment and women's advocacy programs that build confidence, leadership skills, and community voice for lasting social change.
